May, 19th  to 21st, 2009, Singapore---Ms. Jin Lan, Secretary General of the Global Mayors Forum (GMF) and Executive Chairman of the International Mayors Communication Centre (IMCC), has attended Cityscape Asia 2009, an international exhibition hosted by Cityscape, one of the 2010 GMF’s  Endorsement Organizations. At the invitation of the host, Ms. Jin served as an Award Presenter in the ceremony of The Cityscape Asia Real Estate Awards, the most attractive part of that exhibition.

Cityscape is the largest business-to-business real estate investment and development event in the world. Organized by IIR, the world's largest human capital company, Cityscape attracts regional and international investors, property developers, governmental and development authorities, leading architects, designers, consultants and all senior professionals involved in the property industry every year. It provides an annual forum that celebrates the very best in real estate, architecture, urban planning and design from around the world.  As the leading exhibition of its kind in Asia, Cityscape Asia 2009, which was held in Suntec Expo in Singapore, has summoned various well-known real estate developers and investment institutions from all over the world, their companies and projects have been best presented in front of more than 3000 participants there.  

As a partner of the IMCC and also one of the Endorsement Organizations of the 2010 GMF, Cityscape Aisa has been maintaining a good relationship with the IMCC. Taking the opportunity of Cityscape Asia 2009, Ms. Jin Lan, Secretary General of the GMF and Executive Chairman of the IMCC, has met with the management of Cityscape in Singapore, including Mr. Wouter Molan, Exhibition Manager of Cityscape Asia and Mr. Graham Wood, IIR Group Exhibition Director. They have had a cordial meeting and conversation. These two sides exchanged their views on the progress of the 2010 GMF and both agreed that the GMF is a best platform for the city government officials, which could provide an opportunity of resourse exchange and match through closely contacting global real estate developers and investors. Both sides would cooperate further by making full use of their own resource advantages. Also, they communicated on the preparation for the second Global Mayors Forum in 2012, a satisfied consensus was reached. Moreover, at the evening party of The Cityscape Asia Real Estate Awards on May 19th, Ms. Jin was invited to present the prizes to honor those awards winners. 

The meeting between the two sides has made a new breakthrough for organizing the highest international urban forum. Ms. Jin indicated that, Cityscape Asia has been a vital partner of the 2010 GMF and playing an important role in progressing the upcoming forum. Under the current circumstances, to deepen the cooperation is of great significance to both sides, it would not only accelerate to promote the sustainable development and the global inter-city exchanges, but also would help building up a harmonious world. The management of Cityscape also agreed that, after communicating with Ms. Jin, they became more confident with the future of the 2010 GMF and Cityscape Asia would do their utmost to offer necessary assistance to the forum, meanwhile, would keep a long-term cooperative partnership with the GMF.
