Recently, the Council of Global Mayors Forum has a new member—Cityscape, the Hosting Organization of The World’s Largest Property Expo, which was taken as the newest member by the Global Mayors Centre after International Centre for Sustainable Cities（ICSC）, ICLEI - Local Governments for Sustainability（ICLEI）, CITYNET and World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD)

Cityscape is the world’s largest expo in terms of property investment and development, hosted by Institute for International Research (IIR), which is a leading international provider of specialist information and technology. Its headquarter is based in Dubai, the capital of United Arab Emirates. The annual award ceremony and celebration regarding urbanization attract great attention from the government officials, planners, investors, as well as experts in the field of real estate. During the Dubai International Property Investment and development Expo in October 2008, 954 exhibitors from 37 countries and regions presented their enterprises and projects to 81, 162 audiences from 156 countries. The latest Cityscape Dubai 2009 Exhibition will also be held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, during 5th - 8th October, 2009.

During the last few years, as a new growth point in national economic development, China property industry has been growing fast.
