Statement

We, the Secretariat of Global Mayors Forum Council have noticed recently that some individuals and organizations illegally used the Name and Logo of Global Mayors Forum without authorization. In the meanwhile, the related information regarding to members position of GMF Council, members position of GMF Steering Committee and participants position are all unauthorized of being used.

These illegal acts as declared above have seriously damaged the impartiality and authority of GMF, infringed the intellectual property rights of GMF as well. Moreover, they have tarnished all the reputation of GMF Council members, steering committee members and participants.

Therefore, the Secretariat of GMF Council solemnly declares that any unauthorized act by GMF is illegal. The GMF hereby orders these individuals and organizations to stop such acts of infringement immediately; otherwise the Secretariat of GMF Council reserves all rights to take any legal action.
